So we have all seen the adverts with Britney in a room fantasizing about a gentleman and her seductive image has meant that this has sold well but we are left wondering what the Britney Spears fragrance is all about. Many celebrities have failed with their perfumes or aftershaves and the only one that springs to mind that succeeded was Sean John Unforgivable. The Britney Spears perfume, Curious was launched in mid 2000 and comes in a decorative box which is black in colour and the bottle itself is a sassy number with blue glass and a spray device to apply the perfume.
Now down to the actual smell of the perfume, Curious is portrayed as sensual and romantic scent that in our eyes appeals to the men out there who are buying for their ladies. The fragrance has hints of magnolia and lotus flowers, musk and vanilla and the dry down phase is nice with lotus flowers and vanilla particularly coming through. It does not last for very long as it is a light scent and would need to be reused during the day. It is aimed at women of all ages.
To sum up, the perfume is a welcome addition to the celebrity scent market and your perfume mantlepiece and is certainly head and shoulders above most of which is out there. Its short staying power do not help it, however the design of the bottle is crisp and stylish with the smell itself not being offensive and indeed being almost alluring.
