English Leather Is A Classic Male Fragrance For All Ages

Although introduced in 1949 by the Design House of Dana, English Leather has a line of male fragrances for young and old alike. I was first introduced to EL when I was in high school in the late 60s. It had a very masculine scent. I liked the look of the bottle and before long I added it to my fragrance collection. That collection included Hai Karate and Brut. In time Hai Karate was tossed out. It felt good having two popular colognes that had two distinct fragrances. Brut represented the woods classification, from the House of Faberge, and English Leather was in the leather/tobacco category. Both fragrances remain popular because they continue to have a moderate scent and can be worn in casual settings.

You may be surprised to learn that EL has 7 colognes that you can choose. Here we are in the 21stcentury and new fragrances are added every year. With new kids coming in you'd think English Leather would get lost in the shuffle. You would be wrong. Many baby boomers and those of post-WWII still find EL a wonderfully sexy fragrance. However, the younger generation can't deny its aromatic masculine scent and know that you don't have to be old to wear it. And EL wearers are every where because of its staying power and is not over powering. No doubt when you smell the EL classic scent a smile will come on your face and a compliment will follow.
