Thank goodness for H&M right? They recently released a new addition to their fragrance line - and I am genuinely impressed. The release was in partnership with Comme des Garcons - and is conveniently titled: Comme des Garcons + H&M. What is even more appealing is that the recommended retail price is just $34.90 - which is an absolute bargain if you compare it with some of the other more expensive options available.
I know what you're thinking - you want to know what the new fragrance smells like. Well, as difficult as it is to try to describe a smell - I will give it my best shot, in an attempt to save myself from any humiliation. Firstly, you need to know that the new fragrance is unisex - which means that it can be worn by both males and females. For that reason, you wont find any of the harshly strong smells often included in a men's perfume, and you also wont be finding any sweet smells that are traditionally planted in to women's fragrances.
Instead of this - you will most likely find a woody flavor, with subtle hints of bergamot, mandarin, Sichuan pepper, coriander, incense, juniper, cedar, patchouli, pine and labdanum. As you can see, this makes for an interesting mix, and it is the pine which gives it a lovely oaky tone. To be honest, the quality of this fragrance has to be smelt to be believed. It's easy for me to sit here and rave about it - but really at the end of the day - it's your own personal opinion which matters.
Let's just put it this way. Shyamala Maisondieu (the perfume developer from Comme des Garcons) always produces a top notch combination of the best, most exhilarating fragrances - so there is one thing that I can be honestly sure of: This perfume has been well thought out, and has clearly spent a long time in the making.
